Set in a porno post-apocalyptic world, Industry has the looks of a sci-fi or action movie - the locations are all industrial pipes, strobe lights and shiny steel, the girls are erotic warriors in ripped fishnet - what’s more the scenario involves the downfall of society and men and women being left to pursue their base, animal desires, freed from shame and self consciousness. That’s all a bit too deep and meaningful than I really think should be allowed in a porno, but luckily it never really comes up in the film. The only hint of any plot or storyline comes in a few sexy and serious sounding voice overs, but they’re all out of the way by the time the fucking starts, leaving you to focus on the fucking.
