Mistress Vanisha

Occasionally when reviewing for SB, a film comes along which I don’t want to tell you anything about - I want you to see it without knowing what’s coming next, without spoiling any surprise. Mistress Vanisha ‘The Beginning’ is one of those. It’s one I didn’t fast-forward, and which made corresponding body parts to those being touched in the film tingle. All this - and without a single hand-job, blow-job, sex or indeed any much deliberate genital stimulation.
The film is made up of four scenes, each featuring Mistress Vanisha and a client. Mistress Vanisha herself is a pretty redhead, slender in black leather boots, plus in different scenes a red corset, seamed fishnet tights, classic black lingerie, and a PVC catsuit. She is attentive towards her clients, managing to somehow treat them with love even when being cruel.
The first client is Katrina, making her first visit to a mistress in ‘The Journey Begins’. She is treated gently, attached to a suspender bar from the ceiling and with a spreader bar between her ankles. In the second scene, ‘Mistress Vanisha Bags Michael’s Equipment’, fit muscular Michel is strictly told the rules (including never to touch Mistress without permission, to only do exactly as she says, and never to look down on her - if standing up straight not to look at her at all). He is then told to strip, and is slowly humiliated. These first two scenes are good, but the second two are the spectacular ones. Drzzt is the errant submissive an hour late to his appointment in ‘Mistress Vanisha Disciplines a Tardy Sub’, tied to a kneeling stool and whipped till all four cheeks are red. The final scene is ‘Yumiko Submits to Intense Stimulation’, which trusts me isn’t of the kind you might imagine. Yumiko is a totally adorable Asian beauty - at one point Vanisha says to camera “I should be getting angry with her but I can’t, she’s just too sweet’. We see her squirm around trying to avoid Vanisha’s touch whilst being ordered to be still. He dark eyes gazing at the camera as she lies in her final ’stimulated’ state are truly beautiful.
The film is very ‘real’ - the participants acknowledge the camera but don’t play up to it. I don’t know the story behind it but they genuinely seem to be actual clients who’ve agreed to be filmed, except perhaps Michel, who seems a bit surprised and unsure of the whole thing and at the end of his scene does the only apparent ‘acting’ in the film. Drzzt and particularly Yumiko seem 100 per cent genuine.
The camera’s eye view is as if you are there in the room. The action is totally unhurried - we see pretty much what would actually happen during a half-hour session with the mistress.
Various whips and flogs are applied, along with the flat of Vanisha’s hand, and a spike wheel is used in two scenes. Candle wax is also dripped liberally. We see some proper rope-work bondage too. But it’s the timing, the words, the chemistry between the ‘performers’ that makes the film, and shows that fetish is ultimately about so much more than the ‘tools of the trade’. This makes all those supposed fetish films that just roll out the latex outfits and boxes of toys look brash and fake. If you’re properly interested in domination - what might happen in a session with a mistress, or how to go about trying it yourself - then this is a must-see.
I have Mistress Vanisha The Beginning Part Two to watch next week - I think I’m not going to be able to wait that long!
